Woman killed, man seriously hurt in Jerusalem Old City gas explosion

An 80-year-old woman was killed in a gas explosion in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City, authorities say.
A man in his 50s is listed in serious condition with extensive burns, the Magen David Adom emergency service says.
The Fire and Rescue Service says the explosion was likely caused by a gas leak that came from the kitchen of an apartment.
Widespread damage was caused to the home, according to the service.
