Three people were killed and five more were wounded in a deadly car accident between an Israeli vehicle and a Palestinian vehicle in the West Bank on Friday.

The fatalities were passengers in the Palestinian car, three women aged 20, 50 and 60, according to an Israel Police statement. Two Palestinians, a woman in her 30s and a man in his late 50s, were listed in serious condition.

One Israeli was moderately hurt and two were lightly injured in the crash, on Route 60 heading north toward the settlement of Beit El in the West Bank.

The wounded were taken by the Palestinian Red Crescent and Magen David Adom to hospital.
