Trump claims to have ‘intelligence’ on Macron’s ‘naughty’ sex life

Former US president Donald Trump has boasted to associates that he has inside information on French President Emmanuel Macron, including details about his sex life, Rolling Stone reported.

Trump revealed, both during and after his presidency, that he had gleaned his information on Macron from “intelligence” reports, the Tuesday report said.

Specifically, Trump gossiped about Macron’s allegedly “naughty” ways that “[not] very many people know.”

In the FBI’s August raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, officers recovered a document labeled “Info re: President of France”; however, it is unclear if that document contained the “intelligence” Trump referred to.

Rolling Stone cited two unnamed sources who said French officials were scrambling to clarify the contents of that document, which the Trump team illegally stored at his private residence since he vacated the White House in January 2021.

“We won’t comment on the judicial proceedings in a foreign country — in this case the United States,” a French official told Politico.

US and French officials have been collaborating to determine whether any information in the file relates to issues of national security.

One of the unnamed sources cast doubt of Trump’s claims, saying of the former president, “It is often hard to tell if he’s bullshitting or not.”

Despite a warm early relationship between Trump and Macron, including awkward prolonged handshakes, the pair clashed on foreign policy throughout Trump’s four-year tenure.

In 2018, Macron dedicated much of his UN General Assembly speech to criticizing US policy as isolationist and counterproductive, saying, “At a time when our collective system is falling apart, it is most in demand.”

One year later, Trump blasted Macron as “very very nasty” after the French president described the NATO alliance as “brain dead.” Trump then began listing a raft of social and economic issues facing Macron, concluding, “France is not doing very well at all.”
