Mila Kunis opens up about pregnancy

The future Mrs. Ashton Kutcher is craving pickles and sauerkraut, she tells Ellen, and wants a natural birth

Hollywood star Mila Kunis, the pregnant soon-to-be Mrs. Ashton Kutcher, is craving vinegar.

The actress, who ever since announcing her engagement to her former “That ‘70s Show” co-star has kept a super-low profile, broke her silence last week to chat with TV host Ellen Degeneres about cravings, her plans for the baby’s birth and the ways in which expectant dad Kutcher has tried to keep her comfortable.

Kunis, 30, was born to Jewish parents in Ukraine and has spoken openly of her desire to raise Jewish children.

She has traveled to Israel with Kutcher, an avowed follower of Kabbalah, and rumors have long been flying that her partner will eventually convert to Judaism.

“I’m very stereotypical. I eat sauerkraut all day long,” Kunis told Degeneres when asked if her pregnancy has set off strange cravings.

She hasn’t had to beg her partner to set off to the store to satisfy her food needs, however, because Kutcher, Kunis told Degeneres, was so excited when he found out that he was going to be a dad that he went ahead and stocked the pair’s fridge with all sorts of pregnancy foods, including pickles and kraut.

She’s hoping to have a natural birth, without drugs and with a midwife, she told the TV host.

But as for the baby’s sex and its due date, Kunis isn’t telling, saying only that it would happen “this year.”
