Three Palestinians were killed and one Israeli was seriously wounded in a car crash near the West Bank settlement of Migdalim on Saturday evening.
The accident was caused by a head-on collision between Palestinian and Israeli cars on Route 505 in the central West Bank.
The Palestinian vehicle was carrying four travelers, of which three died, and the fourth was moderately wounded. The injured man was evacuated by the Palestinian Red Cresent.
The Israeli woman, driving alone, was evacuated by a military helicopter to Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva in serious condition, according to the Magen David Adom ambulance service.
“Arriving at the scene we recognized that it was a serious and complex accident,” a spokesperson for the Fire and Rescue Services said.

“The firefighters saw difficult sights at the scene, and immediately began prioritizing [the wounded], and [carrying out] complex rescue operations using hydraulic tools,” he added.

Police said traffic inspectors had begun to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
Since the beginning of the year, 162 people have been killed on the country’s roads, according to the Road Safety Authority.
