ILTV, an internet provider of news and programs from Israel in English, said Sunday that it reached an accord with Middle East Television to release ILTV’s main news broadcast to Israeli viewers on cable television.

METV has entered into a syndication agreement with ILTV and will transmit the Israel Daily show from its studios in Cyprus at 10 p.m. Israel time, five nights a week, Sunday-Thursday. METV is carried on both Israeli HOT channel 150 and YES channel 109. The 30-minute ILTV Newscast is produced at ILTV studios in Tel Aviv.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Middle East TV to bring ILTV programming to the Middle East in general and to Israel in particular,” said Jess Dolgin, CEO of J Media Global, the company which produces ILTV, in a statement. ILTV’s goal is to “affect how the world perceives Israel in the news” by providing viewers with an “alternative narrative,” he said.

In addition to the Israel Daily newscast hosted by Natasha Kirtchuk, METV will also air other ILTV programs, the statement said. These include: “One on One” with Alan Dershowitz; “Israeli Weekly – Inside the Issues,” hosted by Steve Leibowitz; and its travel, cooking and fashion shows.

The collaboration with METV will open up a larger market for ILTV as viewers will now be able to watch the programs not only on the internet but also via their TVs, the company said.

ILTV began broadcasting online in December, 2015. The newscasts, programming and segments are now carried on a range of cable, satellite and internet media, including METV, ITV, El Al trans-Atlantic flights, and in coming days on The Times of Israel, the statement said.

J Media Group is a media company that targets Jewish English speakers via the Internet. It provides services to The Times of Israel among and other Israeli and Jewish media outlets.
