Israeli triple jumper qualifies for finals at world championship

Israeli triple jump champion Hanna Knyazyeva-Minenko has qualified for the finals of the event at the IAAF World Championships in London on Saturday.

Knyazyeva-Minenko, 27, clinched the eight and last place in the finals with her second jump of 14.17 meters (46.5 feet).

The finals will take place on Monday.

Knyazyeva-Minenko, who has been recovering from an injury, came fifth in the Rio Olympics in 2016 and placed fourth at the 2012 Olympics. Her personal best is 14. 78 meters (48.5 feet).
