Bennett blasts ‘huge lie’ that Israel opened fire near Gaza aid site, though IDF hasn’t issued denial
Former prime minister Naftali Bennett claims that international media reports a “huge lie” that Israeli tanks opened fire and killed Palestinians at an aid distribution site in Gaza.
“We looked into it, at no distribution center, or near a distribution center, no one opened fire,” he says.
The IDF earlier did not deny that gunfire was carried out, but said it was unaware of any injuries caused, and that “the matter is still under review.”
Bennett emphasizes, however, that the reports are “fake” in an English-language video and Hebrew-language post.
In the Hebrew post, Bennett lambasts the government for the fact that it has not provided information to international media about the incident.
“Israel has no public diplomacy. The matter is not being managed,” he writes.

התוצאה היא מפולת מדינית… pic.twitter.com/ADQlqFew30
