Biden: ‘Settlers attacking Palestinians in places they’re entitled to be. It must stop now’

US President Joe Biden says, “I continue to be alarmed by extremist settlers attacking Palestinians in the West Bank,” adding that the attacks are “adding fuel to the fire.”

“They’re attacking Palestinians in places they’re entitled to be … it has to stop now,” he adds during a joint press conference with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese

Biden also says Israel has the right to respond to the Hamas attack but must do “everything in its power” to protect civilians.
