Likud MK Nissim Vaturi lashes out at Naama Lazimi, a lawmaker for the left-wing Democrats, calling her an enemy and saying she’s worse than Hamas.
“I don’t see a difference between her and them,” he says in a radio interview in reference to Lazimi and the terror group, according to Hebrew media reports. “Whoever hurts the State of Israel from within is even worse. Our enemies are among us, in the soft underbelly, in the Knesset.”
The remarks from Vaturi, a lawmaker in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ruling party, come less than two weeks after United Torah Judaism MK Yitzhak Pindrus said Lazimi should be shot in the legs for protesting.

Lazimi responds to Vaturi, “Netanyahu and his people have put a target on my back.”
She continues, “It isn’t me they’re trying to scare, but the whole liberal camp and anyone who opposes the government. Likud has become a bankrupt mafia. They have nothing to sell so they’re turning to incitement and violence against the people whom the Israeli public wants to replace them with.”
