Further rollback of Iran nuclear obligations would send ‘bad signal’ — French diplomat
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePARIS — Any further rollback by Iran on its commitments to curb its nuclear ambitions would send a “bad signal,” a French diplomat says today after Tehran threatened further breaches of a landmark 2015 deal.
France is leading efforts to try save the deal after the US pulled out of the accord last year.
The source says that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s threats of a third breach of the deal “will make the [mediation] work more complicated.”
