Gal-on says PM supports bill that would stifle top court

After Meretz MK Zahava Gal-on met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today, she says that he wishes to push legislation that would allow the Knesset to re-legislate laws vetoed by the Supreme Court.

Gal-on said Netanyahu’s “support of the bill denies the principle of the supreme authority of the justice system and destabilizes the foundations of democracy for political interests.”
