The military wing of Hamas announces that it has located the body of a hostage during excavations in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City, “inside the Yellow Line” — that is, within the area under Israeli control.

The identity of the hostage is not specified.

The statement adds that arrangements are being made to transfer the body to Israel, but no timeline for the handover is given.
