IDF receives ‘findings’ from Red Cross, PM’s office says, following Hamas handover; ID unclear

IDF troops in the Gaza Strip received unspecified “findings” from the Red Cross a short while ago, the Prime Minister’s Office says.

The findings had been collected by the Red Cross from Hamas.

The IDF inspected the findings and held a short ceremony led by a military rabbi. The findings are now being escorted by the police to the Abu Kabir forensic institute in Tel Aviv for identification.

It is unclear as of yet who the findings belong to, and Hamas has not officially announced today that it intends to return any hostages.

Two bodies of deceased hostages are held in the Gaza Strip, belonging to Master Sgt. Ran Gvili and Thai national Sudthisak Rinthalak.
