Iran claims US restoration of oil sanctions violates MOU ending war, vows ‘decisive’ action
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIran’s foreign ministry condemns a US Treasury move to revoke the temporary suspension of sanctions on Iranian oil sales, saying the decision breaches the Islamabad memorandum on ending the war and holding Washington responsible for the consequences.
“Iran is issuing a serious warning about the consequences of America’s breach of the treaty, and will take decisive measures to protect its interests and national security,” the ministry says in a statement posted to Telegram by IRIB News.
