Knesset approves passing ILA to Finance Ministry
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Knesset plenum approves the government’s request to redistribute authorities among government ministries, with a majority of 58 MKs versus 56 against.
As part of the redistribution, the Israel Lands Authority will come under the purview of the Finance Ministry. Previously, the ILA was under the authority of the Housing Ministry.
Some of the authorities until now held by the Ministry of Intelligence Affairs were transferred to the control of the Ministry of Strategic Affairs, Ynet reports.
