Lapid criticizes Israeli strikes on Iran, says ‘decision not to attack strategic and economic targets in Iran was wrong’

Opposition Leader Yair Lapid criticizes the IDF’s apparently limited military response to Iran’s massive ballistic missile attack on Israel, saying Tehran “is the head of the ‘Axis of Evil’ and must pay a heavy price for its aggression.”
In a statement after Israel launched a wave of airstrikes on military targets in Iran, Lapid says, “The decision not to attack strategic and economic targets in Iran was wrong. We could and should have exacted a much heavier price from Iran.”
The opposition leader also lauds the Israeli Air Force for “once again demonstrating world-class operational capabilities and air superiority.”
The military said that dozens of IAF aircraft, including fighter jets, refuelers and spy planes, participated in the “complex” operation early this morning some 1,600 kilometers from Israel.
