Love on the Gaza border

After holding a formal engagement ceremony in Bnei Brak this past Saturday, a young ultra-Orthodox Israeli man finds what may be the most unexpected and unromantic place to symbolically propose to his fiancé — again.

27-year-old Berale Yackobovitz takes his intended, Margalit Shmilovich, to the border with the Gaza Strip, and with the help of soldiers who had prepared a sign, gets down on bended knee and asks for her hand in marriage for the second time.

Unsurprisingly, she says yes!

He should get points for creativity, at the very least.
