The Israeli military has struck a six-story building in Gaza with a “roof-knock” bomb, indicating that Israeli forces intend to demolish the structure.
It is not immediately clear why the structure, al-Muhannad Tower, has been targeted by the Israel Defense Forces. Israel says it targets buildings used by Hamas or other Gaza terror groups.
In a now-familiar ultimatum, Hamas’s armed wing tells Israel not to demolish more residential buildings in Gaza or else expect rocket fire in Israel’s heartland.

“The criminal Zionist enemy has intensified its bombing of civilian homes and apartments in the last hours. Accordingly, we warn the enemy that if they do not immediately stop bombing civilian homes — we will again bomb Tel Aviv. We will again set it under the range of our rockets,”
