Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is convening the security cabinet tonight to discuss Israel’s Operation Protective Edge and a possible if unlikely ceasefire with Hamas, brokered by the Egyptians.
Earlier, the PM warned that “whoever tries to harm Israel, Israel will harm them,” adding that “when there’s no ceasefire, the response will be fire.”
He did not specify new means that Israel will use, making no mention, for instance, of a possible ground offensive.
