Obama won’t ‘pretend’ Netanyahu making it possible for two-states
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Obama says that even if one accepts Netanyahu’s reaffirming of the two-state solution, it is hard to see the Palestinians succeeding in fulfilling his demands.
The US cannot pretend there is a possibility for the prime minister to agree to a two-state solution, the president adds. “We can’t continue to base our public diplomacy on something everyone knows is not going to happen,” he says during a press conference with the Afghan president.
