Journalist explains pic of Israelis watching airstrike
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Danish journalist who last week uploaded an image to Twitter, showing Israeli citizens in Sderot sitting on beach chairs while viewing IDF strikes on the Gaza Strip, speaks to Channel 2.
“I showed the situation as it was,” Allan Sorensen says, insisting he hold no anti-Israel views.
“I have shown Palestinians dancing on roofs after rockets landed in Israel as well.”
Sorensen’s tweet caused a media stir, as it seemed to portray Israelis as eager to watch violence against residents of the Gaza Strip.
