Police finish dispersing protest without major clashes, ‘small number’ detained
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePolice have finished dispersing the demonstration in Jerusalem, largely without violence, it appears.
At a press briefing at the end of the protest, police officials tell reporters that overall protesters had listened to police instructions throughout the march and demonstration and that at 11:00 p.m. they stopped making noise in abidance with court rulings, so police did not have to use force.
A police official says “a small number” of protesters were detained, though he does not have an exact number.
