Projectile from Gaza sparks fire in southern Israel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA projectile fired from the Gaza Strip at the Sha’ar Hanegev region of southern Israel sparked a fire when it exploded in an open field in the area, a spokesperson for the local government says.
The Sha’ar Hanegev spokeswoman says another projectile also appears to have hit an open field in the region, but it caused no damage.
“Firefighting forces are on the way,” she says.
