Rivlin won’t meet Obama in New York
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePresident Reuven Rivlin won’t meet with US President Barack Obama during Rivlin’s upcoming trip to the United States, the President’s Residence says.
Rivlin’s office says that it was in touch with the relevant officials in Washington concerning a possible meeting during Rivlin’s visit to New York for International Holocaust Memorial Day.
“At this point it was agreed that a meeting won’t take place during President Rivlin’s visit because of schedule constraints of the two presidents, and that a date for a future meeting will be set in the future,” it says in a statement.
