The NBA’s Sacramento Kings draft Tel Aviv-born guard Emanuel Sharp from the University of Houston.
Sharp, who is the son of former Maccabi Tel Aviv star Derrick Sharp, holds Israeli citizenship and played for Israel’s U16 national basketball team.
He will be the fourth current NBA player with Israeli citizenship, joining Portland Trailblazers All-Star Deni Avdija, and Ben Saraf and Danny Wolf of the Brooklyn Nets.
