Soldier gets 10 days jail for call to refuse Amona evacuation orders

An IDF soldier has been sentenced to 10 days in jail for handing out leaflets encouraging his fellow troops to refuse to take part in the upcoming evacuation of Amona, Channel 10 reports.

The fliers said the evacuation of the illegal settlement outpost would “harm the values of the Jewish people.”

“It’s in your hands — don’t harm the people of Israel, the land of Israel and the Torah of Israel,” the leaflet reads, according to channel 10.
