US President Donald Trump quips that he may be assassinated by Iran, claiming that he is number one on the country’s hit list.

“I may be gone too because I’m their number one target,” Trump says during a NATO press conference.

Trump is asked whether security concerns are the reason he has decided not to take the recently unveiled, Qatari-gifted Air Force One home with him from Ankara.

Trump claims he wanted to have the plane flown to several bases in Europe so US soldiers could see how “magnificent” it is.

“We’ll be going home by normal methods,” Trump says.

Trump said earlier on Truth Social that he would use an older Air Force One plane “for old time’s sake” to fly to RAF Mildenhall in Britain while the new plane visits the same base so US service members stationed there can tour the aircraft.
