Following lead of ToI polls, first other survey shows Eisenkot’s Yashar as largest party

Almost two weeks after election polls by Zman Yisrael, The Times of Israel’s Hebrew-language sister site, started putting former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud, a new survey by another outlet shows Yashar would be the largest in the Knesset if the vote was held today.
The Channel 13 news poll has Yashar winning 23 seats, followed by Likud with 22 and Together with 15, while Yisrael Beytenu and The Democrats would pick up 10 apiece.
Shas, Otzma Yehudit and United Torah Judaism are all forecast to win eight seats, while Hadash-Ta’al would receive six and Religious Zionism and Ra’am each got five.
None of former minister Yoaz Hendel’s new alliance with Chili Tropper, Benny Gantz’s Blue and White or Balad clear the minimum vote threshold.
Combined, parties opposed to Netanyahu would have 58 seats without the support of majority Arab factions, short of a majority in the 120-seat Knesset. The current coalition parties would also fall short with 51.
A survey published two weeks ago by Zman Yisrael was the first to have Yashar as the largest party, but that poll also had him able to form a ruling majority together with other Zionist factions opposed to Netanyahu. Another Zman poll from a week ago similarly showed Eisenkot’s party as the largest, though without a clear path to a coalition.
