Starlet denies Nasrallah nuptuals
Reports of unlikely romance — between Lebanese sex icon Haifa Wehbe and Hezbollah leader — vehemently rejected

Lebanese sex icon Haifa Wehbe denied reports that she had claimed to have been married to Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah in her youth.
“Next time they will make me marry Obama,” Wehbe, 37, told the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation, referring to news organizations that had reported the story earlier in the week.
She later posted on Twitter the message “Rumors. Idiotic rumors,” apparently in response to the reports.

According to Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya, rumors of the improbable connection between the model, singer and actress, and the top official of the fundamentalist terror organization, emerged after several Lebanese media outlets quoted her telling the Voice of Russia radio station that she was married to Nasrallah when she was an adolescent.
The reports claimed that Wehbe said she admired Nasrallah’s wisdom, charismatic personality and his anti-Israel positions.
Wehbe rose to fame after she won the Miss South Lebanon beauty pageant at 16 and later was runner up in the national competition.
Wehbe went on to record five albums, including a children’s special, and has starred in several television shows and movies.
She is married to Egyptian businessman Ahmad Abu Husheima. She has one child from a previous marriage.
Wehbe’s brother died in the 1982 Lebanon War with Israel.
Nasrallah, 53, is married to Fatma Yassin and had five children with her, one of whom was killed in a gunfight with IDF troops in southern Lebanon in 1997.
