A 14-year-old girl was seriously injured in Acre pre-dawn Saturday night after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head.

“Around 4 a.m. the girl was hit in the head by a stray bullet,” police said in a statement. “The girl, who lives on the third floor (of an apartment building) on Herzl Street, apparently heard gunfire, went up to the window and was hit.”
