Several vehicles were discovered to have been vandalized overnight Monday-Tuesday and anti-Arab graffiti was found along Bat Yam Street in Jaffa.

The graffiti read “Death to the Arabs” and “There is no co-existence.”

Five cars in the predominantly Arab area of Tel Aviv had their tires slashed.

Police were on the scene and opened an investigation into the suspected “price tag” attack, but there were no immediate suspects.

Price tag attacks, acts of vandalism usually performed against Arab property and typically carried out by Jewish nationalists in retribution for government moves, have become increasingly common in recent years. Mosques, churches, dovish Israeli groups and even Israeli military bases have been targeted in such attacks.

Officials have vowed to crack down on the attacks.
