A 24-year-old woman was seriously injured Friday night in a fire in her Jerusalem apartment.
The young woman suffered burns and damage from smoke inhalation, officials said. She was admitted to the capital’s Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center for treatment.
The fire occurred in a three-story apartment building in the city center. Police and firefighters were investigating the cause of the blaze.
Two other people were lightly hurt from breathing in the noxious fumes and were treated at the scene.
