9-year-old girl dies a day after West Bank car crash that killed her brother
Children’s parents are seriously injured; accident also claimed lives of two Palestinians, apparently after they made illegal U-turn into oncoming traffic

A nine-year-old girl died of her injuries Saturday, a day after she and her family were involved in a West Bank car crash that killed her six-year-old brother and seriously wounded their parents.
Haleli Meoded had been critically injured in the head-on collision. The children’s mother in her 30s, is pregnant.
Two Palestinians were killed in the second car — 17-year-old Ahmad Salem and 19-year-old Ziad Ibrahim Shalesh.
Initial reports indicated the crash was caused by the Palestinian car, which illegally made a U-turn into oncoming traffic on Route 465 near the Ofarim Junction.
Magen David Adom medics dispatched to the scene were forced to declare the deaths of the three victims shortly after their arrival. Firefighters were dispatched to evacuate two of the trapped victims and an MDA helicopter flew the injured to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.
