Abbas arrives in Qatar, will meet its emir to discuss ‘issues of mutual concern’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePalestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas arrives in Qatar for a state visit. He is scheduled to meet with Emir Thani bin Hamad Al Thani to discuss “issues of mutual concern” tomorrow in Doha.
The trip is Abbas’s third official international visit since the beginning of the pandemic: at the end of November, he traveled to Amman and Cairo for a quick two-day trip to meet with Jordanian monarch Abdullah II and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi.
