Bennett raps Mazuz, saying all citizens are equal
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEducation Minister Naftali Bennett responds to Deputy Interior Minister Yaron Mazuz.
Taking a principled approach, Bennett attacked Mazuz, saying: “The state will maintain equality for all its citizens regardless of religion, race or gender. This is the right of Arabs as it is the right of Jews. No one is doing citizens a favor by making them citizens, period.”
Meretz chairwoman Zahava Galon praised Bennett for his comment, telling Army Radio, “I expect to hear similar things from the prime minister and from Zionist Union.”
