Representatives of families of individuals thought abducted by Hamas into Gaza met with President Isaac Herzog earlier today.
Eden David, whose two sisters are missing, said, “Bringing back those kidnapped is a fundament of our society. We won’t win the war until everyone is home. If need be, we will rock the country.”
Eyal Eshel, whose daughter is also believed abducted, said: “With all due respect to the war, children were abducted. We will not allow them to grow up there for nine years before bringing them back.”
Gal Hirsch, appointed as the point man for the abductees, told the families that “the best minds are working on bringing [them] back.”
Herzog said the matter was at the top of the agenda.
