Herzog says, We’re patriotic, not jingoistic
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleOpposition leader Isaac Herzog responds to Deputy Interior Minister Yaron Mazuz and to PM Netanyahu: “Every person who strongly opposes the Palestinian flotilla and the participation of Israelis there is patriotic but those who oppose the right of our Arab citizens to complete equality including an ID card are just jingoistic,” says Herzog in a Facebook post.
“We are not less patriotic than you but not as jingoistic as you,” Herzog writes on Facebook. “I call on the prime minister to clarify unequivocally where he stands in this battle over the character and image of the state.”
