IDF says airstrike in Jenin targeted gunmen who shot at troops
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israel Defense Forces says Palestinian gunmen opened fire on troops who arrested a pair of terror suspects in the northern West Bank.
According to a military statement, the soldiers “identified hits” among the gunmen.
In a separate incident in the Jenin refugee camp, the IDF said gunmen hurled explosives and shot at troops before a military aircraft carried out a strike “to remove the danger.”
“Hits were identified,” the statement says, adding no soldiers were injured.
