From Iranian official says Tehran to ready deployment of forces to Lebanon, Syria
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn Iranian official tells the American NBC network that Tehran will begin registration for deploying forces to Lebanon in the coming days, following Israel’s strike that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
Ayatollah Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Iran’s deputy for international affairs, says officials will grant permission for forces to be deployed in Lebanon and the Syrian side of the Golan Heights.
“We can send forces to Lebanon to fight against Israel, just as we did in the year 1981,” he says.
