Lebanon says 89 killed in Israeli strikes, 700 wounded

BEIRUT, Lebanon — A spokesperson for Lebanon’s health ministry tells Reuters that Israel’s strikes across Lebanon had killed “89 martyrs and wounded 700 people.”
The spokesperson says 12 medics were among the dead in southern Lebanon.
The figures do not differentiate between combatants and civilians.
