Meretz MK Zandberg to head Knesset drug panel
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleMeretz MK Tamar Zandberg will head the Knesset Committee on Drugs, Israeli media reports.
Zandberg is an outspoken supporter of legalizing, or decriminalizing the use of marijuana.
“The time has come to stop the disgrace of criminalization and to connect the Knesset with the day-to-day reality in which hundreds of thousands of Israelis smoke cannabis recreationally as a matter of routine,” says Zandberg.
