Poll predicts continued deadlock; majority says Smotrich unfit to be minister
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA Channel 13 election poll continues to predict a political deadlock, which neither Benjamin Netanyahu nor Benny Gantz able to form a government with their preferred partners.
The poll shows the Joint List alliance of Arab and Arab-majority parties losing some of its support, while Jewish voters are increasing their backing for the two main parties, Likud and Blue and White.
The survey also asks whether Yamina party’s firebrand MK Bezalel Smotrich, the current transportation minister, is fit to serve as a minister and member of the high-level security cabinet.
Only 24 percent say he is fit for that role, while 55% contend that he is not.
