President of military court who was accused of sexual harassment steps down, won’t face charges

The president of a military court who was accused of sexual harassment recently resigned from the IDF in an apparent deal that will see him avoid criminal charges.

The military confirms that the colonel will not face charges, “since the officer compensated the victim of the offense, and in light of his retirement and his commitment to take responsibility for his actions.”

The IDF says that “the officer retired from his position as a military judge and from the IDF.”

However, he will still face disciplinary proceedings, according to the military.
