Departments at Clalit hospitals that were operating in underground facilities are now being relocated to their original locations in a planned and phased manner, in accordance with Health Ministry guidelines, a spokesperson says.
In the north, including Haifa, hospitals will remain at a reduced level of activity, in accordance with Home Front Command guidelines and local situation assessments.
A Rambam Health Care Campus spokesperson says that the hospital’s departments will remain underground for now.
Sheba Medical Center’s Director of the Gynecology and Maternity Division, Prof. Shalev Mazaki-Tovi, says that the department is now moving above ground “after 40 days and 40 nights and after more than 1000 deliveries” in the underground facilities during the war with Iran and Hezbollah.
“We are able to go above ground and to provide our patients with suitable normal conditions to have their delivery,” he says. “Honestly, we are very happy, and we are excited to go back to our routine.”
