The US Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew welcomes the release of hostages yesterday.

“Relieved hostages are reuniting with their loved ones. We won’t rest until everyone comes home,” Lew writes on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Earlier this month, the US Senate voted to confirm the nomination of the former treasury secretary to become the envoy to Israel in a process that was fast-tracked due to the war.
