Welfare Minister Haim Katz to resign tomorrow — report

Welfare Minister Haim Katz will resign tomorrow after Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit recommended graft charges against him, the Ynet website reports, without citing a source.

The move comes after members of his party, the ruling Likud, urged him not to resign.

Katz will remain Knesset member and run for the next parliament, and is reportedly weighing asking MKs to grant him immunity.
