The victim was taken to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, where medical personnel confirmed his death.

The victim was identified as Muhammad Iyad Qassem from the central Arab city of Tira. According to reports, he was shot at the entrance of his home.

As of Saturday, 24 Arabs have died violently this year in Israel: 18 Arab Israeli citizens, four Palestinian residents of East Jerusalem, and two Palestinians from the West Bank. Three were shot by police, while the remaining 21 were killed in intra-communal violence, the Abraham Initiatives nonprofit said.
