Man with police record found at entrance to his building with multiple stab wounds, dies at hospital

The man’s neighbor found him at the entrance to their apartment block around 7 p.m. and called emergency services. He was critically wounded from multiple stab wounds and died after being brought by paramedics Yoseftal Hospital, Israel Radio reported.
Police did not immediately release the man’s name for publication.
Police opened an investigation into the incident, which they suspect was criminal. Commander Yaakov Cohen told Haaretz that “the murdered was known to the police and all directions of investigation are being checked.”
