Sixteen-year-old in hospital after being bashed over the head by a friend

An Israeli teenager was severely wounded overnight Sunday-Monday during an argument with friends in the northern city of Carmiel over the World Cup final match between Germany and Argentina, which Germany won 1-0.

The 16-year-old was hit over the head by one of his friends and collapsed. He was transferred to hospital in Nahariya.

Police arrested the 17-year-old suspect.
